I had an opportunity to fish with Ty on my first King Salmon trip on the Kenai River. I landed a 55 pound King within our first hour on the River. As the summer went by I observed Ty on occassions with many clients fishing for King Salmon, Rainbows, and Silvers. Ty is a very knowledgable guide for all Kenai River fish.

Ty is very easy to talk to, and makes your trip everything it should be by using excellent tackle, good baits, and reading the "bite." He understands what it takes to catch fish and works extremely hard for his clients. I believe "patience" is a quality that Ty displays while working the river. I met Ty of Ty's Guide Service this summer and I have to say that I haven't been disappointed with the results. Not only does Ty find the fish, they usually are the big ones. I went out on a charter for the first time with Ty's Guide Service in late May this year and caught the biggest Kenai River King Salmon I have ever caught in my life.
